To apply servant leadership in organizations means observing the relationship between servant leadership and several variables related to the behavior of people in the organization. In this specific case, the relationship was analyzed from a theoretical review of research related to the topic. The authors highlight the proposal of The Blanchard Companies on a model through which the outcomes become a consequence of achieving the corporate vision with the active participation of employees and customers. The article proposes a perspective that servant leadership as the core element for organizational success. Long-term profitability which characterizes high-performing companies is generated by actions of strategic and operational leadership that lead to the commitment and passion of the employee, as well as the customer’s loyalty and devotion to jointly generate organizational vitality. By expanding the traditional concepts of the critical factors that affect the high organizational performance, there is the redefinition of variables related to organizational performance and delves into the elements that affect these factors.
