The present research aims to determine the success factors in the implementation of digital transformation projects for document management processes in Colombian public entities, for this a description of the research problem is made that raises the following question, What are the Success factors in the implementation of digital transformation projects for document management processes in Colombian public entities? To answer this question, a conceptual, systematic and casuistic review of four variables related to Digital Transformation, Document Management, Project Management is carried out. and Success Factors in Public Entities, this in order to analyze the success factors in the implementation of digital transformation projects for document management processes in Colombian public entities and build the guidelines to take into account in the implementation of this type of projects. The research process is developed from the non-experimental type of research and the articulation of the mixed approach (quantitative / qualitative), with correlational scope, the survey was used as a technique and the mixed questionnaire as an instrument for collecting information. In accordance with the above and as a result of the field work, the analysis of the information and the results obtained, the success factors and the guidelines to be taken into account in the implementation of digital transformation projects for document management processes are presented. in Colombian public entities.
