Currently, the production processes for the fattening of livestock aimed at producing high quality meat include multiple strategies to modernize and include technology in livestock, in order to take companies to a new level of superior quality, becoming each more and more competitive, implementing more and better sustainability features, improving their efficiency, effectiveness and quality throughout the value network. To contextualize the objective of this project is to improve silvopastoral systems for bovine production in Colombia, specifically in the department of Meta, where the region is characterized by being an important niche of contributions in this aspect of trade to the national GDP (DANE, 2020, pags. 5-28). This is why the importance of improving food systems to meet the needs of a very dynamic and demanding demand in terms of product quality and other variables that make a final consumer a satisfied (CORPOICA - SENA, Basto G. - Fierro L., 1999, pags. 7-28). The inclusion of arboreal components as a complement to the feeding received from the pastures by the livestock will be a differentiating and competitive element, which aims to potentiate the economic benefits in the livestock activity.
