The aim of this study was stablish the effect of an intervention program based on motor relearning programme whe it is used to improve the postural control or postural balance. Materials and Methods: The type of study was a clinical trial with control and experimental group. Intentional sample of 65 participants who where recruited as soon as they meet the inclusion criteria (Adults between 18 and 60 years with hemiparesis) The control group received conventional physical therapy instead the experimental group received intervention based in motor relearning programme. The control grup were 32 participants and experimental were 33 participants. Postural control was measure with functional reach test, including pretest and posttest measures. Statistical analysis was develop with SPSS. Results: The analysis showed statistically significant results for the experimental group (pvalue=0,001) in contrat to control group (pvalue=0,603). The experimental group imprive 3,6 cm after intervention while the control group just improved 1 cm. Conclusions: Rehabilitacion programme based on motor relearning programme directed to improve the postural control in adults with hemiparesis, it is a good and effective alternative for this kind of secuels and damages. Provide functional strategies useful to implement in activities of daily living.
