Los imaginarios sociales y fundamentalismos en discursos políticos y religiosos análisis del discurso en el plebiscito sobre los acuerdos de paz en Colombia 2016
Colombia is considerated a secular State, but religions still have an important role in national life. In this sense, the Catholic religion had, for a time, a much greater and more relevant role, followed by a change in the religious map that evidenced the rise of other diverse religions. All the cults and beliefs that host these diverse religions have been confronted with the political dynamics for which the country has gone through in parallel. These dynamics have also had different expressions (National Front, National Constituent Assembly, negotiations and peace agreements) being the plebiscite for the peace agreements of 2016 the most recent. Taking into account the importance of religions in Colombia, and religious transformation that the country has had over the years, this study aims to analyze the presence of fundamentalisms or religious social imaginaries that were presented in different discourses of political leaders and try to show how these discourses could influence the results. In this sense, the study consists of 3 fundamental stages. The first, an introduction to the study, which describes in more depth the phenomenon to be studied and how it was reached (the emergence of fundamentalisms can not be taken as a fact of nothingness), explaining in turn the tools conceptual and theoretical that were used together with the objectives of the work; the second, an analysis of the respective discourses of some of the main leaders who participated in the plebiscite for the 2016 peace agreements, where the main messages of each leader are exposed and messages are identified that represent or have a direct connection with the imaginary or religious fundamentalisms; Finally, the results and findings extracted from the analysis are presented.
