The present research aims to evaluate the evolution of housing policies in Colombia in the last four periods of government in terms of Vis and No vis subsidies for the 15 cities of study, the benefits they present to lower-income citizens to facilitate access to housing as a fundamental right. To this end, a review is carried out of the background associated with housing policy and the construction sector in Colombia from 2007 to the current year. Based on the documentary review of the National Development Plan for each of the mandates and the analysis of variables such as housing units, total housing area, housing stratification and building permits, to obtain the development through the time of the fifteen cities of study and thus to determine which government was the one that stimulated more the sector of the housing and the construction.
