This paper addresses the recognition of nature tourism as an umbrella product of adventure tourism, agrotourism and ecotourism, and its significant contributions reflected in the tourism industry during the last decade at the international and national level, due to the impact derived from a sustainable anthropocentric relationship, which promotes in the community the conservation of natural spaces and the obtaining of tax benefits granted by the State. An explanatory study was made with the application of qualitative techniques, allowing to determine that the tourism sector, especially nature tourism will be a dynamic axis of the economy in the department of Caqueta, and the source of development based on environmental education to create awareness, improve the quality of life and forge community welfare through sustainable alternatives in the region. From this, the post-conflict will generate changes in the local economic model and competitive market strategies will be directed towards environmental protection and the use of tax incentives.
