The purpose of this paper is to demonstrate the key role of environmental ethics in educational training of the younger generations. From reading a work of children's literature (LIJ): Los hijos de Madre Tierra, Celso Roman, and writing of a story of the same genre: La libertad del Agua, will seek to guide the formative dimension literature in order to build an environmental ethic, with a set of values clearly established to rethink the human-nature relationship in an era that requires immediate solutions to environmental problems that threaten the future of life, since, as stated in the thesis, environmental conflicts are intrinsically linked to social conflicts.
