espanolEl presente articulo de investigacion se enfoca en la presentacion de informacion pertinente y confiable, que aporta estadisticas que definen la condicion actual de las empresas del sector platanero del departamento del Quindio en sus areas legal, tributaria, administrativa, operativa y contable, y el grado de avance de adopcion de las normas internacionales para Pymes NIIF PYMES. La investigacion se realiza bajo el metodo descriptivo para detallar el estado vigente de las empresas, sus caracteristicas y propiedades. Se utiliza un enfoque mixto, considerando una parte cualitativa dentro de la investigacion dado que existe una referenciacion conceptual, teorica y documental, y otra parte cuantitativa, por el uso de metodos estadisticos y tabulacion de datos con base a la informacion financiera para la presentacion de los resultados. Se utilizo como instrumento de recoleccion de la informacion la encuesta estructurada para las empresas objeto de investigacion sobre las cuales se emiten las conclusiones correspondientes. EnglishThis research article focuses on the presentation of pertinent and reliable information, which provides statistics that define the current condition of companies in the banana sector of the department of Quindio in its legal, tax, administrative, operational and accounting areas, and the degree of advancement of adoption of international standards for SMEs SMEs IFRS. The investigation is carried out under the descriptive method to detail the current state of the companies, their characteristics and properties. A mixed approach is used, considering a qualitative part within the research given that there is a conceptual, theoretical and documentary referencing, and another quantitative part, by the use of statistical methods and tabulation of data based on the financial information for the presentation of the results. The structured survey for the companies under investigation was used as an instrument to collect the information on which the corresponding conclusions are issued.
