This document explains the design and implementation of an application for mobile devices that supports the management of events held at the Santiago de Cali University. The main motivation of this project is automation, control and allowing to improve the experience and security of the totality of the assistants to the events held in the university, mainly the events of degree ceremonies since the assistants to these are not only students but also persons outside the university who must be safe in the facilities and additionally take a Good corporate image after attending events. This initiative arose from the need of the General Secretary and had the support, advice and workmanship of the Faculty of Engineering and the Systems Engineering program in order to automate processes through information systems reducing the high levels of complexity and demand of large amounts of time and administrative effort to maintain management. The application was developed with the Scrum methodology and the design is Web responsive which means that its interface is adaptive to any mobile device, has an intuitive and easy to use interface, The first phase of the implementation of the application is done for the Event management to the degree ceremonies. The event can be created with the associated students by faculty, the schedule and generate the amount of invitations per student with an attached QR code that will allow the control and security of the attendees to the ceremonies to be maintained.
