This paper presents a methodology for assessing the performance of the repair process in a power distribution system which models the repair resources and logistics as a queuing system whose input and service are stationary or non stationary stochastic point processes. The performance indexes of the process are calculated by means of a sequential Montecarlo simulation procedure. After analyzing a typical Colombian power distribution system it was found the delay time is the index that better reflects the performance of the repair process.
