La investigacion es documental, mediante el analisis de fuentes legales, jurisprudenciales y doctrinales sobre los aspectos, cuya descripcion constituye el objetivo principal a saber: la democracia y su relacion con los derechos fundamentales; autoritarismo y referencias al nuevo autoritarismo latinoamericano; el poder judicial y su utilizacion por los gobiernos autocratas analizados para el logro de sus fines. EnglishThe crisis of democracy in Latin American countries (Venezuela, Bolivia and Nicaragua), where authoritarianisms are appreciated that use the judicial system to erode democracy and human rights and, among other arbitrariness, establish the indefinite re-election to perpetuate himself in power. The research is documentary, through the analysis of legal, jurisprudential and doctrinal sources on aspects, the description of which constitutes the main objective namely: democracy and its relationship to fundamental rights; authoritarianism and references to new Latin American authoritarianism; the judiciary and its use by the autocratic governments analyzed for the attainment of their ends.
