Every company that is interested in bidding before national government entities, has to comply with Colombian law No. 80 of 1993. Among these requirements is to comply with legal aspects, price and quality, however these requirements must be more rigorous if these bidders are required to meet the criteria of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), which is a permanent commitment of companies or organizations to increase their competitiveness through measurable concrete actions that satisfy the interest groups that are: its members, the government, society and the preservation of the environment. The purpose of this work is to measure CSR using a tool called DEA (data envelopment analysis), that allows giving a numerical value to each of the components that make up CSR to each of the companies that bid before a Colombian government entity.
