In Colombia, Institutions of Higher Education, both public and private, have as their main action the fulfillment of their substantive functions. One of these is their extension through Social Projection, which includes services related to the external environment provided by the same institution. Through teaching and research, Social Projection generates the design and development of projects that relate to the communities involved. The management of stakeholders as a factor of success in these projects has theoretical support; However, there is no connection of this relationship evidenced in the projects of Social Projection, as confirmed by the literary reviews carried out in this document. Therefore, to address this need, the present research work seeks to establish this relationship by reviewing the literature related to the research variables, in order to determine the influence of stakeholder management on the success of Social Projection, here in the case study of the University of Boyaca; to this end, our study determines the predominant stakeholder groups. The above will thus generate literary support for future investigative work in this area of projects, which has been poorly documented in the past.
