The instruments of constitutional protection in Colombia, have generated true legal institutions that, in the pursuit of the defense of fundamental rights, tend to guarantee the labor stability of persons with disabilities due to physical or mental reasons. These instruments have created a kind of phenomena of discrimination, since the excess of protection decreases the propensity of employers to hire workers who, due to their personal situation, have access to strong labor stability. The described phenomenon is called reverse segregation and its effects, problems and challenges in the labor market, are analyzed by the author in this paper.
