One of the main problems that affects the hotel organizations in the region is the lack of implementation of a safety and health system at work; this leads initially to a lack of normative knowledge, inadequate use of work tools, and poor distribution of company areas and long periods of exposure to hazardous environments. These aspects motivated to carry out a research work, in order to know the way of implementation of the safety and health at work process in the hotel organizations of the city of Villavicencio, for this purpose, the different procedures for identifying and analyzing the evaluate the current work conditions, the possible risks, the existing strengths and weaknesses. With the results obtained, it was sought to establish a plan that improves and strengthens companies in matters of safety and health at work. A structured questionnaire was applied in the form of an interview, based on the characterization survey of a measurement model of human management, an application for Colombia and the survey of human management processes in SMES of Villavicencio.
