This study presents the results of research conducted by the Renacer foundation in 2015 with the support of Ecpat Netherlands, on “Commercial sexual exploitation of children and adolescents in three different contexts of travel and tourismâ€. Interested in knowing what the dynamics of commercial sexual exploitation of children and adolescents associated with travel and tourism in the municipalities of Leticia, Cartagena and Acacias; this research was qualitative and ethnographic and makes a theoretical contribution by proposing new categories for understanding CSEC in these three municipalities: modern opening, exclusion, debauchery, malleable borders, institutional fragility and development of megaprojects. It also makes a contribution to inform the authorities and local organizations about issues related to: 1. Pimps, intermediaries and operators-customers. 2. Scenarios consummation of abuse and 3. Characteristics and needs of victims.
