The present study focuses its attention on the analysis of urban growth from the industry in the municipalities of Funza and Mosquera which are municipalities that are in an emerging growth, that is to say that they are in an accelerated process of economic development and industrial. Currently, these municipalities are considered important industrial foundations, a fact that in itself constitutes a challenge for urban and regional planning since if there is no articulation between industrial growth and land use it is impossible to achieve a comprehensive distribution of space. This research outlined a detailed overview of the situation, and that it can be made public, this in order to reflect on the need to promote industrial and urban growth that is consistent and homogeneous, and that is supported by ideas of newer, more sustainable and planned territorial planning. For this purpose, the industrial location of the municipalities was characterized, later the relationship between the types of industry of the municipalities of Funza and Mosquera and their location was determined, and the relationship between the industrial location of the municipalities of Funza and Mosquera and the land management plans to later identify land management opportunities from the identified patterns.
