In this document, work was done in identifying how psychologic systemic therapy favors the construction of “us” for couples in conflict. Following the steps of a research-intervention method, the study included four couples who attended therapy sessions at the psychology clinic of the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogota, Colombia. A multiple case study with a categorical analysis was conducted, in which the relationship between conflict, the construction of “us” and systemic therapeutic interventions was shown. Relevant aspects of couple’s psychotherapeutic processes were identified and pointed out, ones that favors the construction of “us”, while taking into account their own stories and characteristics.
