The exponential growth of smartphones in recent years has driven the development of multiple applications of different categories among which you can find applications focused on teaching various topics. Applications such as educational games are born as a new strategy for users to learn in a more entertaining and meaningful way. This document details the research, design, development, and evaluation of a mobile application for Android operating system, which is intended to contribute to the safeguarding of the intangible cultural heritage of Colombia specifically of the knowledge, techniques, and processes necessary for the creation of textile crafts in the municipalities of the Sabana Centro region. The prototype developed consists of a videogame in which the user must follow the process necessary to perform textile crafts in the context of the Sabana Centro region, specifically the municipality of Tenjo where sheep shearing is done to obtain wool.
