The present investigation arises from our interest in literature reaches those children who, due to different circumstances, have been removed from their country of origin, feeling unprotected by everything they have left behind, without seeing the possibilities offered by this new place. In this way, probably that emptiness that occurs in children when they move away from their country, We propose that literature has the potential to welcome and provide a space that provides them with tools to build new experiences that, little by little, fill the void of what they have left behind. The results derived from the process are of two types. On the one hand, descriptive results from the inductive analysis of children's comments, based on which we once constructed subcategories. On the other hand, in the interpretive results we present, by means of graphs, how relate the categories to the various types of books used in the research (migration, fantasy, and wordless books). concluding that the books provide an opportunity for him to talk about this emptiness, forming weapons to confront themselves and meet again, even if they were far from their native country.
