Abstract:

The discipline of nursing, over time has managed to develop around research and the use of its own theories, being a discipline supported theoretically and empirically. Likewise, Nursing students, during their undergraduate training, acquire technical and clinical reasoning competencies resulting in very practical learning experiences for the development of their own skills. In this context, a relationship between the teaching staf and the student body is generated, where emotions, procedures, humanization and a learning environment complemented with the theory are compromised. Therefore, the purpose of this article is to relect on the importance of applying nursing theories to students who attend clinical practice, especially using their resources in the ield of assessment. From this, it is proposed to carry out an instrument to support the development of competences in the practical area, based on the Model Theory and Role Modeling, whose purpose is that students become subjects of care for the teaching staf, thus contributing to their learning processes.
