El presente trabajo pretende abordar la Educacion Fisica como un area de conocimiento, con la cual se pueden trabajar procesos de socializacion y convivencia escolar, teniendo en cuenta los escenarios que, de manera mas derterminante, influyen en ellas. Se parte de un breve analisis de la familia, la escuela y las tecnologias de la informacion y las comunicaciones (TIC) y su inlfuencia en la educacion de los estudiantes de diferentes niveles de la Educacion General en Colombia. Se ofrecen aspectos que, tomando en consideracion los retos a los que se enfrenta la educacion en la sociedad actual, pueden ser considerados para lograr una mejor convivencia escolar desde desde el area de la educacion Fisica. ABSTRACT The present work tries to approach the Physical Education as an area of knowledge, with which can work processes of socialization and school coexistence, taking into account the scenes that, in a more dertermining way, influence in them. It splits of a brief analysis of the family, the school and the technologies of the information and the communications (TIC) and its inlfuence in the education of the students of different levels of the General Education in Colombia. This work offers aspects that, taking in consideration the challenges which the education faces in the current company, can be considered to achieve a better school coexistence from the area of the Physical education.
