( is research aims to study the issue of international business relations development from two perspectives, the & rst is to determine what stages or steps that SMEs su* er in the process of internationalization and the second is to study the factors of culture and see how they in$ uence the processes of internationalization, aspects such as language, education, religion, psychic distance, the geography distance , customs, climate, etc. In this case applied to the companies of Textiles, clothing and fashion design in the city of Bogota. ( ere is general consensus among academics that culture in$ uences in fundamental ways the internationalization of companies, but in Colombia the literature about this regard is almost nonexistent. For this reason, this research seeks to start a & rst job, on one of the sectors that the Colombian government and the country included in the so-called transforming productive sectors, which aims to be part of world-class economics sectors. Also this research aims to provide the theory from the point of view , knowledge and experience of the Colombian productive sector and therefore make easier for companies and entrepreneurs to establish and develop international business relationships.
