The present project was made with the objective of know the characteristics of the actual state of the road infraestructura in Tunja’s city, in a more detailed way in the north-eastern zone, providing technical assistance to the planning advisory office through the collection of geo-referenced information of urban roads, following established guidelines and the methodology exposed in Resolution 1067 of 2015 of the Ministry of Transport. For the collection of the georeferenced information, GPS receivers were used such as: Mobile Mapper 50, Mobile Mapper 10 and two tablets acquired by the Mayor's Office. Also, a GIS software as ArcGIS for the processing and analysis of data, and as supplementary programs the MobileMapper Office and Excel. A work team was formed, led by contractors of the Planning Advisory Office. Initially, the established in the resolution 1067 of 2015 are exposed with the additional regulations to be taken into account, the location of the project and the theoretical concepts essential for the development of the work. Later, the methodology used for field work and office work is described and finally the results found are shown. As added value, was made the accident assessment focused on sectors 6,7,8,9,10 of Tunja’s city and work is carried out with information from a database of accidents between the years 2015 to 2017 in SHAPE FILE format, data provided by the Transit and Transport Secretary of Tunja delivered through the Planning Advisory Office for the purpose of this work.
