This document describes the development and procedure of the research, which arises from the following question: Can PyMes in the commerce sector in the city of Barranquilla obtain a better position in the market through the implementation of marketing strategies digital , within this writing will be reflected beneficial characteristics that has the implementation of this process of strategic marketing within the digital area, which are the ones that allow to measure the effectiveness in the positioning of small and medium enterprises, in addition will be evidenced the techniques that exist in terms of the tool, which processes should be implemented and which are the different digital media where digital marketing is implemented, in which digital advertising campaigns and the sale of the products offered by PyMes are promoted. Here it is specified how through the results and statistics the effectiveness of digital marketing used as an incremental and potential strategy in the PyMes of the commerce sector in the city of Barranquilla, on the other hand will be presented the reasons why some companies do not implement these strategies
