The objective of this inquiry is to give contributions to comprehension about different points of view that people have in Colombia in relation to peace process with ELN. Our research born from plebiscite results in 2016 when people reject the peace process between Colombia government and guerrilla FARC-EP. We collect an historical count of ELN history and lately we address different psychological theories about violence, peace and narratives that have been analyzed with some findings obtained from a quantitative survey that recollected pertinent information about people who supports peace process and those who don´t. We found that exists a generational difference between young and old people which change the narrative referring to how people understand guerrillas, specially ELN. Old people tend to take a more violent narrative while young people look for a social peace including ELN members. Relating results with different theories we divided narratives in 2 types. A narrative that legitimate violence against insurgent groups and a second narrative that defends peace negotiations. We conclude that exists an ELN image as an enemy and that’s part of an immovable war narrative that have born through time.
