This systematization seeks to establish the relationship between parenting practices, parenting styles, and behavioral problems in school adolescents between 12 and 18 years of age, based on what was reported in the documentary sample of the two educational institutions with which we have worked. in the Psychological Care Practice in Contexts from 2016-2 to 2018-2. As well as, define the characterization of behavioral problems in adolescents, identify aspects of emotional development and explore the relationship between different parenting practices and their impact on different areas of adolescence as evidenced in the documentary samples. The above through a thematic analysis, from which the categories and topics that were considered pertinent for the development of a documentary sample extracted from the case reports, functional diagrams and formulations of 22 cases attended in the framework of the practice. Within the results of the investigation, multiple cases were evidenced in each category. The fragments of the cases were divided into these depending on what the reports and the analyzed documentation of each individual referred to. The most frequent behavioral problems among adolescents were found to be present in all cases. Regarding emotional development, deficits in social skills were identified: interpersonal and conflict resolution, avoidant coping, and low self-esteem. As reported in the documentary sample, the foregoing was closely related to parenting practices, since low levels of responsiveness and high degrees of control were observed. This systematization is related to the demands of adolescents and aims to provide feedback on the way in which psychological care processes are being carried out in order to respond in a pertinent way to the demands of the cases.
