La innovación como factor generador de competitividad, resultante del fortalecimiento organizacional interno en las PYMES de servicios en Cajicá - Cundinamarca.
The economic growth of a country depends on the productivity and competitiveness of its business fabric. For this reason, it is vitally important for emerging economies, such as Colombia, to have a solid and innovative corporate ecosystem that allows to achieve the desired productivity and competitiveness indicators. In modern economies, the component companies of this ecosystem are defined as economic elements that constitute the innovative agent of an economy since it is the business sector that is responsible for the value-generating improvements in its productive and organizational processes. Today, innovation has been recognized as a critical factor for the survival of organizations in the market, since, by highlighting this factor, companies can differentiate themselves and compete with high standards. Related to the above, the main axis for the projection, development and industrial strengthening of organizations is to promote the necessary conditions to implement innovations, thus optimizing the economic sectors of the country. On the other hand, small and medium enterprises - SMEs, have aroused the interest of academics and public policy makers since they are a source of employment, innovation, productivity and competitiveness. In addition, its senior management has understood that, in order to overcome difficulties of permanence and positioning in the market, it is not enough to provide products of good quality and price, but to guarantee the search for innovation, while generating competitive advantages. In the present work and due to the importance of innovation in achieving strategic objectives for SMEs, thus allowing them to position themselves in the Colombian market; It aims to analyze Innovation as a primary factor in competitive performance, generator of advantages and value, in the SMEs of Cajica - Cundinamarca. Likewise, these innovative processes are analyzed as a factor resulting from the strengthening of internal organizational aspects of organizations. For the elaboration of the present work, the use of an exploratory research design is proposed where its main method of data collection will be the summary documentary observation of texts, the direct interview and focusing the study in a correlational investigation a statistical analysis is carried out, which It allows measuring the degrees and modes of relationship that exist between two variables, innovation and competitiveness and innovation and some internal organizational aspects, which will allow the corresponding conclusions to be generated.
