This work is part of the result of the project of social projection called: “Educating for Peace: A study from the rural educational institutions of the West and the moor of the Sarna in Boyaca, Colombia”. An analysis is carried out from the chair of peace, taking into account its three most important aspects, which are: education for peace, culture of peace and sustainable development, all so necessary and important for a better understanding of what It means living in peace in territories that have been marked by violent acts of a war that we must end together. In this way the text is divided into three main sections, the first characterizes the right to peace; The second section illustrates the scope of the chair for peace and finally demonstrates what has been the experience of this exercise in the Sarna moor
