Quality of care during early infancy has a great impact in psychological development. There is evidence that home visits and interventions using videofeedback could help to improve maternal sensitivity and attachment security in children. This case study presents the implementation process of the Relational Intervention to support its adaptation to Colombian context. Participants were two caregivers and their children under two years old from Bogotá: an institutionalization case and a maltreatment prevention case. Selected videos of intervention sessions and caregiver´s and psychologist´s evaluation forms were analyzed. Tendencies analysis for quantitative data and content analysis for qualitative data were carried out. Findings demonstrate that Relational Intervention, through strengthening of maternal sensitivity, is a promising intervention to facilitate reintegration process of children in institutions and to enhance maternal sensitivity; feasibility of the protocol implementation with high-risk families was demonstrated. Recommendations to strength strategies to reduce contextual stress factors were included.
