The designs of earthquake resistance are realized by conventional methods. The energy spendthrifts are an alternative for the designs earthquake resistant. They help these to a structure at the moment of an earthquake. The spendthrifts allow to concentrate most of the energy on an earthquake, without there being significant damages. These devices are not often used. In this work we look at the behavior of a curve histeretica for a heatsink of energy VMS, with each of its cycles. In this research will compare the curve histeretica experimental with the curve histeretica numeric. The curve histeretica numeric is performed using the software abaqus.
