espanolUno de los propositos explicitos en el proceso de educar deberia ser el favorecer la comprension de la mirada interdisciplinar del conocimiento, que aporte a la formacion de personas integrales, curiosas, criticas e imaginativas (Mendoza, Callejas, Porras y Moralejo 2011), y la universidad juega un papel importante en este aspecto. Por lo que esta investigacion busca contribuir al acercamiento de las dos culturas, la humanistica y la cientifico-tecnologica, separadas tradicionalmente porlos prejuicios que han propiciado la incomprension y el rechazo hacia los otros. Esta investigacion forma parte del Proyecto de Ensenanza y Aprendizaje sobre la Naturaleza de la Ciencia y la Tecnologia (EANCYT). En este trabajo se presentan los resultados globales obtenidos en un curso de Electiva interdisciplinar titulado “Consolidacion de la cultura cientifica” de nivel universitario, donde se aplico una Secuencia de Ensenanza y Aprendizaje (SEA) denominada “?Dos culturas o dos prejuicios?”, disenada por Mendoza et al (2011), que tuvo como uno de los objetivos que los estudiantes interpreten las relaciones entre las ciencias y las humanidades con base en la lectura de textos y la discusion con pares. Antes y despues de la aplicacion de la SEA, se aplico un test a los estudiantes estructurado por 6 cuestiones pertenecientes al Cuestionario de Opiniones sobre Ciencia-Tecnologia-Sociedad, COCTS (Manassero, Vazquez y Acevedo, 2003). Luego de la aplicacion de la SEA se obtuvieron mayores indices (que significan opiniones mas adecuadas) en las cuestiones referidas a union de dos culturas, valores y estandares, decisiones sociales, etica e instituciones educativas. Therefore, this research aims to contribute to the rapprochement of the cultures, the humanistic and scientific-technological, traditionally separated by the prejudices that have led to the misunderstanding and rejection toward the other. This research is part of the project of Teaching and Learning about the nature of Science and Technology (EANCYT). In this work are the overall results obtained in an interdisciplinary elective course entitled Consolidation of the scientific culture at the university level, where you applied a sequence of Teaching and Learning (IS) called two cultures or prejudices? , designed by Mendoza et al (2011), which had as one of the objectives the students interpret the relationships between science and the humanities with basis in the reading of texts and discussion with peers. Before and after the implementation of the Sea, a test was applied to the students structured by 6 issues belonging to theQuestionnaire of views on science-technology ia-Society, COCTS (Manassero, Vazquez and Acevedo, 2003). After the implementation of the Sea were obtained higher rates (which means views more appropriate) on issues relating to the union of cultures, values and standards, making social, ethical and educational institutions.
