RESUMO : Este trabalho propos buscar as principais contribuicoes da psicologia em relacao ao processo de luto, dentro de uma visao ampla trazer conhecimentos de varios autores baseado em seus estudos, sobre as possiveis intervencoes na atuacao profissional e suas percepcoes sobre o mesmo, uma vez que essa tematica (morte) esta presente no cotidiano profissional do psicologo.A pesquisa que as intervencoes clinicas psicologicas neste processo sao muito positivas e saudaveis porque permitem o individuo vivencia-lo e elabora-lo. A pesquisa foi realizada com 14 psicologos que atuam em clinica no municipio de Rolim de Moura e para obtencao das informacoes utilizou-se um questionario com perguntas abertas e fechadas sobre a percepcao dos profissionais em relacao ao luto elaborado pela autora. O luto e um processo longo e doloroso, que tem como caracteristica uma tristeza profunda, e natural que o individuo em processo de luto queira se afastar de toda e qualquer atividade que nao esteja ligada a pensamento sobre o objeto perdido, e qualquer perda significativa que rompe lacos afetivos, vinculos afetivos, porem a ideia de luto nao se limita apenas a morte,e quepode ser vivenciado por meio de perdas que perpassam pela dimensao fisica e psiquica, como os elos significativos com aspectos pessoais, profissionais, sociais e familiares do individuo, de modo geral o luto e caracterizado como um rompimento de vinculos afetivos significativos, e como um processo natural esta presente na dinâmica entre os dois polos da existencia humana: a vida e a morte. BEREAVEMENT THERAPY: Clinical interventions in the preparation of the grieving process ABSTRACT: This work proposed to search through literature the main contributions of psychology in relation to the process of mourning, as well as within a broad vision to bring knowledge of several authors, based on their studies, on possible interventions in the professional performance and their perceptions about this subject, since this theme (death) is present in the professional daily life of the psychologist. The research also showed that the clinical psychological interventions in this process are very positive and healthy because they allow the individual to experience it and to elaborate it. The research was carried out with 14 (fourteen) psychologists who work in the clinic of the municipality of Rolim de Moura, and for getting the informations a questionnaire was used with open and closed questions about the employees' perception regarding the mourning elaborated by the author. Research has shown that mourning is a long and painful process, and has a characteristic of deep sadness, it is natural that individual in mourning wants to move away from any activity that is not related to the thoughts about the lost object, affirmed that mourning is not limited only to death, and that it can be experienced through losses that pass through the physical and psychic dimension, as the significant links with personal, professional, social and family aspects of the individual, in general mourning is characterized as a rupture of significant affective bonds, and as a natural process is present in the dynamics between the two poles of human existence: life and death.
