espanolEl presente articulo analiza las manifestaciones mas representativas del patrimonio cultural inmaterial (PCI) del municipio de Plato, Magdalena-Colombia, a partir de los procesos de inventarios participativos. La investigacion se llevo a cabo a traves de un trabajo etnografico, en el que se implementaron talleres participativos, y entrevistas a profundidad. Esto permitio identificar, de la mano con la comunidad, las principales situaciones que ponen en riesgo la sostenibilidad de dichas manifestaciones y plantear estrategias de salvaguardia. Asimismo, se desarrolla una discusion sobre las categorias de Folclor y (PCI), y una reflexion frente a los interrogantes: ?Que tanto los inventarios del (PCI) estan constituyendo herramientas de salvaguardia? ?Los inventarios realmente estan apoyando y fortaleciendo la capacidad social de gestion del patrimonio cultural? EnglishThis paper analyzes the most representative manifestations of the ICH at Plato town, Magdalena-Colombia, from the process of participatory inventory developed through ethnographic work, participatory workshops, and in-depth interviews, which allowed identifying with the community the situations that jeopardize the sustainability of the manifestations and create safeguard strategies. Also, a discussion is generated on the categories of Folklore and ICH, and a reflection on the questions: to what extent are the ICH inventories are building safeguard tools? Are inventions really supporting and strengthening the social capacity of cultural heritage management?
