Objective: With the present article of research it seeks to generate Communication strategies for the valuation and appropriation of Cultural Interest Assets in the municipality of Jerico Antioquia. Methodology: Starting with the participant observation carried out in the municipality. it were generated cultural property valuation strategies. Finding : The socio-historical configuration of the municipality of Jerico is evident from its foundation and construction until the change of vocation of the municipality. The cultural memory articulated with the Goods of Cultural Interest and territorial identity was reconstructed from the social mapping carried out with youth groups of the Municipal Museum of Jericho and with the civic group Guardians of Tourism and Heritage. With which Communication strategies were generated for their assessment and appropriation. Conclusion: for the conservation of the Goods of Cultural Interest, criteria of additional valuation to the architecture must be implemented such as: seniority, authenticity, authorship, construction, form, state of conservation, urban, physical and environmental contexts; representativeness and socio-cultural contextualization, in addition to the values attributed to the Goods of Cultural Interest that complement the aesthetic.
