The objective of this article is to analyze the impact that Entrepreneurship and Business Development Centers (CEDEs) have had on the competitiveness indicators of the Municipality of Pereira and the effect achieved in the community in general. The CEDEs that are currently in operation are located in: Commune del Cafe (neighborhoodIndustrial Park), CommuneEast (neighborhood Ormaza), CommuneSt Nicolas, The Remanso, CommuneBear (Perla del Otun), Commune Consota (neighborhoodThe Golden). One of the contributions of the CEDEs to the productive sector is through training for work, in order to improve business productivity and positively impact on the generation of employment. In addition, the CEDEs promote the consolidation of productive units that allow the strengthening of the existing business fabric.
