The processes of outsourcing are widely susceptible to the presentation of downtimes that end up affecting the dedication of costs, this article presents an analytical study to an outsourced process of loading and unloading of merchandise and discloses a methodological model based on the application of Lean Logistics for implementation in the outsourcing sector, product of research, which enables the reduction of downtime and therefore waste in the costs of direct labor and processes. This methodology was subjected to simulation validation in the Flexsim program, in two scenarios: a first scenario, the initial situation shows a resource utilization of 81.33% in times and costs of labor and then; When simulating a second scenario, using the proposed methodology, the use of the resource goes to 97.78%. At the cost level, a decrease of 16.45% is obtained, evidencing the possibility of obtaining reasonable times that consider capacities, with positive and efficient results for the outsourced service provider and therefore the customer or user of the service.
