Los objetivos centrales de este trabajo son presentar una estrategia para la gestion de datos administrativos y academicos a traves de un sistema integrado BILA de Inteligencia de Negocios (Business Intelligence, BI) y Analitica del Aprendizaje (Learning Analytics, LA) y dar a conocer los primeros resultados de tal integracion como soporte empirico a la iniciativa. Los resultados primarios indican que el sistema integrado permite a las instituciones educativas comprender a mayor profundidad los fenomenos administrativos, sus potenciales relaciones con los fenomenos academicos y llevar a cabo un proceso mas informado para la toma de decisiones institucionales. La implementacion del modelo se realiza en un colegio internacional americano en Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Business Intelligence and Learning Analytics as Integrated Systems for School Management. AbstractThe objectives of this paper include presenting a strategy for the management of administrative and academic data through an integrated BILA system of Business Intelligence (BI) and Learning Analytics (LA) and showing the preliminary results of such integration as empirical support to the initiative. The primary results indicate that the integrated system allows educational institutions to understand in greater depth the administrative phenomena, their potential relationships with the academic ones and to carry out a more informed process for institutional decision making.
