In this investigation we see clearly, the communication process that leads through WhatsApp using emoticons as reinforcement to sentences, this process is evidenced in the interactions of the cultural groups of the University of the coast, (theater and dance) These two groups have the ability to communicate in their daily lives with bodily expressions associated with their activity, these two groups were taken into account because it is possible to demonstrate the communication process where those bodily expressions are transferred to the digital using emoticons.
