The present investigation observes the identity transformations in a therapeutic system after a therapy process in the systemic approach. For the fulfillment of the general objective, a categorical narrative analysis was carried out, using the NVIVO software as a tool. The participants were two consultants and the therapist. Thus, it was observed that the changes, regardless of the reason for consultation, focused on the deconstruction of beliefs that formed patterns of relationship that generated feelings of dissatisfaction in the consultants. At the end of the therapeutic process, patients identified with other beliefs, modifying their scale of values and transforming their narrative saturated with problems. The present investigation proposes that the center of identity narratives are beliefs, therefore, it is there where we must intervene in order to build identity transformations.
