Water is the most important natural constraint of a territory, to settle its population. However, with the passing of time and the urban growth that doesn´t have a long-term planning, vital spaces as sources of rivers, creeks, hills, wetlands and environmental reserve areas, intended for sewage deposits, garbage, debris, illegal settlements and uncontrolled passage of road infrastructure. Therefore, it is inappropriate to continue channeling and hardening the habitat water. But if we preserve the sources, we recover the natural channels to become structural axes of planning and development, we hold the occupation and urbanization of the edges of the city, understood as environmental soil necessary for the conservation of water sources, we promote the natural drainage, protection of urban green space on each site of the city, avoid removing green laces, as barriers, planting tree there and good management of road infrastructure in the environmental protection areas like rivers, canals and streams, we can approach a more sustainable city.
