Incentivando la gestión ambiental comunitaria en el humedal de Tibanica : una propuesta basada en escenarios prospectivos de los jóvenes del colegio Carlos Albán Holguín en Bosa - Bogotá (Colombia
Wetlands are part of ecosystems that have been degraded by humans, even though their ecosystem services contribute to the well-being of the surrounding community. Particularly the environmental management of the Tibanica wetland has been ineffective due to the low implementation of the public policy developed to conserve it and the ineffectiveness of community participation due to its context. In this line, this research is a case study that proposes a route to encourage community environmental management in the Tibanica wetland. Thus, it is based on the construction of prospective scenarios with students of the school Carlos Alban Holguin located in Bosa. As results of the work, a characterization of the Tibanica wetland as socio-ecological system was obtained. For this, the historical context of the wetland was identified and the system was delimited through participatory prospective analysis. This tool also allowed young to recognize insecurity in the wetland as the main limitation of community environmental management. From this point, the students established the forces that modify the behavior of the system and defined as drivers: the relation of the community to the wetland, the management of the wetland, the use and the esthetic of the wetland. Finally, with these forces, they describe the desirable scenario for Tibanica. This was taken as an input to design the route to be followed to encourage community environmental management in the Tibanica wetland from the youth and their families.
