Estudio prospectivo de Validacion de la Escala de Cuidados Paliativos (ECP), cuestionario que dispone de dos versiones, una diligenciada por el paciente o su familiar y otra por el profesional sanitario. Se realizo analisis factorial exploratorio: mediante el test de Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin y de Esfericidad de Bartlett; para la validez de contenido, se determino el alfa de Cronbach, de alta consistencia valores ≥0,75; la confiabilidad por estabilidad se evaluo aplicando indice Rho de Spearman en test-retest, comparando dos aplicaciones con 4 dias de diferencia. Los analisis se realizaron con el SPSS V.23. la ECP mostro buena aceptacion tanto por parte de los pacientes y los profesionales de la salud, presento un Alfa de Cronbach profesionales de salud 0,775 y 0,777 para pacientes respectivamente, el coeficiente rho de spearman fue -0,076 (p=0,478) para la escala de los profesionales de salud, y de 0,508 (p=0,000) para el de los pacientes. La (ECP) se convierte en una herramienta validada en Colombia para medir resultados de cuidados paliativos, lo que la hace un insumo importante para los profesionales de la salud que trabajan con pacientes cronicos. Exploratory factorial analysis was carried out: by means of the Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin and Bartlett's Sphericity test, for the content validity, Cronbach's alpha was determined, values ≥ 0.75 were considered as high consistency; Reliability for stability is evaluated by applying the Rho spearman index in test-retest, comparing two applications with a difference of 4 days.
