In this document we find the state of the art of installation of piles by static pressure, as an alternative of deep foundations; This constructive method is characterized by showing advantages such as the minimization of environmental disturbances present in the low noise when driving piles, installation vibrations are zero, contamination by dust particles is scarce and the machines that allow the procedure are easy to transport, manipulate and adapt to the work area. The study describes the main researches proposed in their majority by Asian authors, who were the pioneers in the implementation of this constructive method, giving solution to the strong noise, vibrations and environmental contamination by conventional methods of installation of piles in a dynamic way. The conclusions reached are aimed at complementing the proposed objectives, investigating the feasibility presented of the method of installation of piles by static pressure present in other nations, giving positive solutions in deep foundations, especially in residential areas where noise is a problem and environmental standards Many countries are demanding not to allow very high decibels in urban areas, which would inconvenience residents of the sectors surrounding the buildings. Through this research, it was possible to identify the use of this method in Colombia, in geographical areas where the feasibility of installing piles by static pressure is feasible, taking into account the stratigraphic profile and the installation procedure.
