Abstract:

The text takes a tour of human rights education in Latin America, exposes its disciplinary and pedagogical knowledge to lead to a concrete practice as it was the School of Human Rights and Citizenship of Antioquia. For this he uses the metaphorical figures of: the sub- ject in modernity as the “Emilio”, the subject of Latin American reality as the “Juan Sin Tierra” and his encounter with the “Ricardo Semilla”, to reach the ideal not absolute or individual of “Hatuey”. Deploy a practice that shows the process of change of pedagogy in human rights, from the perspective of Latin American historical culturalism and the need to transcend dialogue with decoloniality, which incorporates the rights of nature, humanity and the human how to know how to discipline, maintaining the original meaning of popular education.
