The intention of the article was identified the phenomenon of the competitiveness of the companies and the country Colombia opposite to organizations and highly competitive countries, from the factors that involved in the process, up to the position that they occupy in the world ranking, finding that Colombia weighs his efforts got down 5 positions to occupy the place 66 between 137 economies (opposite to 61 between 138 in 2016) of agreement with the index of Global competitiveness elaborated by the Economic World Forum (FEM).
