The Project Evaluative practice using PBL: A proposal from a reflexive practice standpoint was carried out along the conceptual lines and formative processes of the Masters Program in Education of the PUJ. It´s main objective, was to design a proposal for an evaluative practice of the professor, that incorporates reflexive elements in such a way that enriches medical education and facilitates the implementation of Problem Based Learning (PBL) A projective research design of four phases was implemented: the first (descriptive) kept in mind an educational perspective that considered the context of medical education and the rol of PBL in this setting. In phase 2, (comparative) an analysis of the educational context of medical education was performed based on three sources: literature review, expert opinions and the needs for improvement identified by the authors as professors of medical students. The third phase (analytic) is the proposal conceptualization that took in mind the categories identified in the research question that lays de foundations of this proposal. Finally, on phase four (explicative) the components of the proposal and the instruments necessary for its future implementation are examined, and the orienting principles, the PBL levels and the development of the practice based model applied to medical education are offered. A contribution to medical education is made by the presentation of a model that gives the teacher a way to evaluate his teaching applying elements of reflexive practice in PBL.
