Developing countries promote economic enrichment by encouraging the creation of innovative companies and projects, which is why there is an increase in the interest of academics and private institutions to study and design policies and programs to support these projects. This article presents an extension of the Timmons (1999) entrepreneurship model, which consist in explaining the variable of resources that interferes in the creation of innovative ventures through public-private partnerships, in order that can be applied by entrepreneurs in the creation of innovative projects in Colombia and in turn to the economic development of the country.
