Harassment and sexual violence are defined as a systemic problem within society. For more than there are different studies of the subject, it is necessary to make a more rigorous investigation that allows to find what are the causes of this phenomenon. This study intends to compile the topic, taking into account some factors that seem to directly and indirectly influence the issue of sexual violence. In the first place, the concept of violence is taken into account, which is considered a great burden in this problem. As a second point, the topic of violence in Colombia is specifically focused on sexual violence in universities and what are the different characteristics that are presented with it. As a third point, emphasis is placed on the issue of sexual harassment, its manifestations, the consequences and the regulation thereof. Finally, a conclusion is made where the phenomena and the state in which sexual harassment is found within the universities in Bogota are evident. Within the framework of the Pontifica Universidad Javeriana, a matrix with objectives is made, where relevant actions are proposed to make visible, educate, and achieve the reduction of this phenomenon.
